What this policy covers
This Policy applies to FYT Raleigh’s website and related pages, event registration and ticketing, paid membership and account-management experiences, QR/check-in tools, email communications, and SMS programs.
Third-party services that you choose to use—such as Facebook, Stripe-hosted pages, or other linked services—also operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

- Mobile phone number when you provide it
- Membership or account status and related identifiers
Event, ticket, and membership information
- Events you register for, purchase, or attend
- Ticket details, quantities, prices, QR/check-in status, and attendance records
- Membership status, subscription ID, billing status, renewal date, cancellation status, and payment confirmation records needed to operate and support a membership
Payment information
Payments and recurring membership billing are processed through Stripe-hosted payment services and, where applicable, other payment processors we use for particular services. FYT Raleigh does not store full payment card numbers. We may retain limited transaction metadata such as payment or invoice IDs, amount, date, and status for support, accounting, fraud prevention, and recordkeeping.

- Match a paid membership to a private-group access request

- Send SMS messages only for programs and categories you have separately opted into
- Send membership/account SMS such as activation notices, payment-method action notices, or cancellation notices when you have opted into that messaging program
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve FYT Raleigh services
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Maintain accounting, tax, legal, and business records
SMS messages and consent
SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase a ticket, buy a membership, create an account, or access a non-SMS service. When SMS consent is offered, it must be a separate affirmative choice rather than bundled with another required agreement.
Depending on the program you choose, FYT Raleigh may send event-related messages such as ticket confirmations, QR delivery, reminders, arrival instructions, or event changes; and membership/account messages such as activation, billing-action, or cancellation notices. If we offer promotional SMS in the future, that program will require separate consent.
Message frequency varies based on the events or services you use. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of the applicable SMS program and HELP for assistance. You may also contact main@findyourtriberaleigh.com.

How we disclose information
We may provide information to service providers that help us operate FYT Raleigh, such as:
- Stripe and other payment processors for payment, recurring billing, customer-portal, fraud, and payment-support functions
- Twilio or other messaging providers for SMS delivery and opt-out handling
- Website hosting, CDN, security, backup, and infrastructure providers
- Email-delivery providers
- Analytics, event-management, and operational tools used on our behalf
These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their agreements and applicable law.
Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful process, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction where permitted by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential site operation, security, preferences, performance, and analytics. Your browser may let you limit or block cookies, but doing so can affect site functionality.
How long we keep information
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including event operations, membership administration, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax and legal obligations, disputes, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods can differ by record type.
SMS consent and opt-out records may be retained as evidence of messaging permissions and preferences. QR, attendance, billing, and transaction records may be retained for event history, security, and business recordkeeping.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other control over certain personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where required or permitted by law.

Children’s privacy
FYT Raleigh’s adult social events and paid Singles Group membership are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we collected such information without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
International visitors
FYT Raleigh operates in the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States and other locations used by our service providers, subject to applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy as our services, practices, or legal obligations change. We will update the “Last updated” date when we make revisions and provide additional notice when required.
